SCH ZACHÓD IN A NUTSHELL
Get to know us

We are a multi-generational community of people who want to live the Gospel – not just on Sunday, but every day.
We are open – regardless of where you come from or your experience with the Church.

We form Christian Community Zachód – one of several communities in Warsaw belonging to the Church of Christ in the Republic of Poland. This is part of a broad family of Protestants in Poland and worldwide.

Where we are rooted

The evangelical churches we belong to are part of the Protestant stream of Christianity – one of the three main ones, alongside Catholic and Orthodox.
Today, over 800 million Protestants live worldwide.

We emphasize personal faith in Jesus Christ, the authority of the Bible, and a vibrant community of believers where everyone can grow, serve, and discover their place.

The Church of Christ in the Republic of Poland, of which we are a part, operates in the spirit of biblical faith, community, and freedom. We also co-create the Evangelical Alliance in Poland.

2020
COVID Pandemic
COVID hits and forces services to start online.
In December 2020, after a year of negotiations (since February 2020), we sign a lease for a new hall in Galeria Bemowo.
2021
Online meetings and general renovation of the hall

January 2021: online services, then from June, in a quickly adapted space after a clothing store, and the start of fundraising and renovation of the new 355 sqm space on the 1st floor of the gallery. Media notice the first church in a shopping mall in Warsaw.

2021
Church Launch in the Gallery

December 12, 2021: first service in the new hall. Grand opening of the Church in Galeria Bemowo.

2022
Outbreak of war and refugee crisis

On February 24, 2022, Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.
In response to the crisis, SCh Zachód became a humanitarian aid center for refugees for the next two years, working in cooperation with friendly Warsaw parishes of the Church of Christ, Roman Catholic communities, and aid and missionary organizations.

Together with the Social Welfare Center, we opened a Humanitarian Aid Center in the provided space of Galeria Bemowo.
Thanks to joint efforts, aid reached nearly 200,000 people – families, women, and children fleeing the war.

2024
Church growth and flood relief

Since 2022, we have been continuously growing: we hired a second pastor and created new Church administration. At its peak, SChZachód comprises 120 people, including children.

September-October 2024: SChZachód is intensively involved in helping flood victims in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

what guides us
We base our actions and decisions on solid values that give direction to everything we do – these are our foundations.
FREEDOM

Who am I? What am I living for? We believe these questions have meaningful answers – in Christ. It’s in Him that we discover our identity. And we learn to truly live.

community

No one should go through life alone. The church is God’s family – for everyone.
Regardless of age, past, or background. You’re welcome here.

mission

Faith isn’t just something for me.
God gave us life – and invited us to share it.
That’s why we don’t want to live only for ourselves.

what guides us?
Our foundations
Wolność
Kim jestem? Po co żyję?
Wierzymy, że te pytania mają sensowne odpowiedzi – w Chrystusie.
To w Nim odkrywamy swoją tożsamość. I uczymy się żyć naprawdę.
Rodzina
Nikt nie powinien iść przez życie sam.
Kościół to Boża rodzina – dla każdego.
Bez względu na wiek, przeszłość czy pochodzenie. Tu jesteś mile widziany.
Misja
Wiara to nie tylko coś dla mnie.
Bóg dał nam życie – i zaprosił, żebyśmy się nim dzielili.
Dlatego nie chcemy żyć tylko dla siebie.

WE INVITE YOU
Would you like to visit our community? We invite you to our Sunday service.
our goal
Our mission
We believe that the Church matters where people live – in the city, in everyday life, in relationships.
Therefore, our mission does not end with words, but translates into how we live, build community, and serve others.
01

The Gospel in the heart of the city

We want the Gospel to genuinely reach people and permeate the daily life of the city – not as a theory, but as good news that gives meaning, hope, and direction.

02

A Church that is family

We are building a local, healthy Church where relationships are important, and community is a place of growth.
We are open to everyone – regardless of their history, age, or where they are today.

03

Service in everyday life

We believe that God has called us to serve people and the city in practical ways – responding to real needs and being present where daily life unfolds.

the people who make up sch zachód
Parish Council

This is a group of people who oversee the direction and spiritual rhythm of the SCh Zachód Church.
They were appointed by the community to accompany pastors Adam and Klaudia Duliński in their daily pastoral work and to support the process of making important decisions regarding the life of the church.

The Council operates collectively, not hierarchically – it is based on shared discernment, dialogue, and guidance, so that what we do as a community aligns with the vision God has for our Church.

Leadership Team

This is a group of people who care for the life and daily functioning of our community.
Each leader is responsible for a chosen area – from children’s and youth ministry, through the cafe, welcoming team, small groups, to men’s and women’s ministries, multimedia, social media, and sound engineering.

Their task is to create a space where everyone can feel part of the Church, find their place, and get involved in what moves them.
It is thanks to them that many things happening at SCh Zachód work so well – quietly, but with heart and dedication.

WHAT WE LIVE BY EVERY DAY?

The Church is more than just a Sunday gathering.
We operate locally and globally, creating a place for meetings, growth, and help.
Here you will find space for action, relationships, and growth – at different stages of life.

PROJECTS WE PARTICIPATE IN

We are involved in local and international projects – we support the Mission of Friends of Moldova, help refugees from Ukraine, and cooperate with non-governmental organizations in Warsaw.
In response to urgent needs, we also participate in ad hoc aid efforts, including for flood victims.

Events we organize

We regularly organize events that build relationships and community – concerts, evangelistic meetings, carol evenings and community Christmas Eve dinners, as well as trips, movie nights, discussions, and breakfasts.
With us, something is always happening – there’s space to be together, talk, and have a good time.

Groups that build community

Church is more than just Sunday.
During the week, we meet in small home groups, for Bible study, and during the Alpha Course. There is also a men’s group that meets once a month for Saturday breakfasts, and a vibrant youth group, full of energy and ideas.

It is in these smaller spaces that relationships, trust, and a sense of belonging to the community are born.

GET TO KNOW US
The first church in a shopping mall in Warsaw – that’s us!

Sch Zachód – the first church in a shopping mall in Warsaw

It might sound a bit unorthodox – a church in a shopping mall. But precisely because of this, we are close to people: where they meet friends, shop, grab coffee, or go to a restaurant. It’s a place of everyday life, and we believe that faith should be present right there – not just on Sunday, but in the very heart of city life.

Since 2021, we have been meeting in Galeria Bemowo. This location might seem unusual for a church, but for us, it’s a natural choice – we are where the city’s daily life unfolds. Our hall on the first floor has become home not only to our community but also to many other Warsaw groups. Meetings, events, and conferences are regularly held here, and we also make the space available to non-governmental organizations that provide aid and build common good.

A few months after the opening of the new hall, we had to face an experience that permanently etched itself into our history – the outbreak of war in Ukraine. From the first days of the crisis, our hall opened its doors to thousands of refugees. During the week, it transformed into offices, warehouses, and a logistics point for hundreds of volunteers. Together, we were able to coordinate transport, food distribution, and legal or medical aid.

Throughout these months, a huge number of people seeking safety passed through our space – we estimate that we managed to reach up to 200,000 people with aid. This experience showed that the Church is not just a place of worship, but the heart of a community that can respond to real needs and address the challenges of modern times.

Church close to people

Closeness is more than just a slogan for us. We build relationships, talk, pray together, and strive to be a support in daily life. We believe that the Church should be an open place – one where you can simply come.
